Swedish Glassware – A new online shop

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

There is now a new online glassware shop open. It’s called Swedish Glassware and they are specialized in Swedish glassware from one of the biggest glassmakers in Sweden; Orrefors Kosta Boda AB. They have a quite large range of different glasses, bowls and vases but also many other things. Visit the website here: www.swedishglassware.com.

Some of my favorite collections that Swedish Glassware offers are:

Nobel – The Nobel collection was created for the 90-years jubilee of the Nobel price, 1991, by Gunnar Cyrén. It is still very interesting. If you can’t afford it all, why not buy one or a few of the very decorative devil snaps glasses. They will give a unique touch and some color to your home. Enjoy them as decoration and drink from them at special occasions. This is not the type of glass you want to keep hidden in the cupboard. Each glass is hand blown and hand painted.

Precious – The Precious collection holds some truly exclusive pieces. Swedish Glassware offers you a bowl, a vase and a votive. They all remind you of the shape of a diamond and you just can’t help falling in love with them. This collection is designed by Malin Lindahl.

Swedish Glassware also holds some handful tips when it comes to washing your glass and keeping them in a good condition.

Swedish glassware

Baseball cards aren’t worth money unless they are rare or have the right player on them. Swedish glassware is the same way. If you want valuable pieces, you need to buy unique hand-made items that are either made by the right company or artist, or that are very rare. Fortunately, you can find many places online that will help you to figure out just how valuable your collections are, or will be if you haven’t purchased them yet. It has never been easier to invest in great Swedish glassware products to decorate or add to your home than it is today. You can find entire collections online and great prices on many of them because of the nature of internet businesses. They save money by operating online, and you save money because they do.

Swedish glassware is a great collection for those people who have very discerning tastes or who are particular about the products that they buy. When it comes to getting the best of the best in glassware, you aren’t getting it if you’re not buying Swedish products. They have been making glass for more than 250 years, which gives them the upper hand and the lead on the market. It doesn’t matter whether you like the style of Kosta Boda or if you prefer the utilitarianism of Orrefors pieces, because both are great Swedish companies that offer only the best in glassware.

Swedish Glassware- A Must-Have for Exquisite Tastes

Scandinavian design and Swedish-inspired housewares are not a new trend. For years, the Swedes have been setting the standard in high-end interior design and high quality products. However, it has recently become more accessible to people than ever before, via the internet. You can turn your three-bedroom home in
Chicago into a Swedish-inspired chalet in no time at all with the right resources and products. If you’re looking into starting a new collection or adding the best of what Sweden has to offer to your home, start with Swedish glassware. You can find so many great products that can add a touch of class and elegance to any home.
Swedish glassware is also very unique, because the majority of it is still hand-blown, spun, or molded. Teams of craftsmen and artisans use their creative vision to create every single product that you see online, and that means that no two products are identical, even if they appear to be similar. This is half of the charm and value of collecting items like this, because you can get much more enjoyment out of one-of-a-kind items than you can by having something that 2 million other people have.
